    Here are some pics of my champagne yellowbelly male when I first got him home:






    This picture does him no justice, though -- in person, much of this snake's body and head are BRIGHT orange. (I need to take some new pics ...)

    I'm in the same boat as many of y'all: when I first saw the champagnes and a lot of the initial combos, my response was an overwhelming "Meh" and I was glad to have at least one high-dollar morph that I WASN'T coveting. I even saw one in person and was thoroughly unimpressed.

    Then I saw the pastel calico champagne posted by Sloan Reptiles (I don't believe it is their animal, but they posted the pic), and then the Enchi champagne, and then the morph started to grow on me. At first I only wanted one female to add some champ genetics to my collection, but when this guy came along, he kind of made sense what with my calico and Enchi females being up to size this year ...
