Pinkie rats

I read another thread about someone having trouble feeding a 2 month old. My little spider is about 6 weeks old and has only had one meal about a week ago. If he doesn't take a F/T mouse this week I'm also considering live pinkie rats. Since they're so young can you purchase more than one and they'll stay alive? Or is it best to just get one? I've never had to deal with pinkie anything so any input will help. THX

No a pinkie rat cannot live on it's own, pinky rats they are between 0 to 5 days and are still being nursed, only rats over 3 weeks of aged are weaned.

You might want to try a mouse hopper. Rat pinkies are fine, but they don't have a lot of movement and it is that movement that stimulates the feeding response. Also, the mouse hopper will live on its own, where a rat pinkie will not without a nursing mother.

Pinky rats are for corn snakes and other itty bitty snake babies.
Ball pythons normally turn their noses up at such miniscule treats
