Cute little baby!

A couple suggestions. If that is tape in your enclosure I'd recommend removing it. Snakes have a way of getting themselves stuck to tape and it really is no fun to get off them.. I'm sure you can imagine why!

I see you have already insulated the back and sides of the tank, so that should help with the ambients. Switching to a smaller enclosure, like a ten gallon, might be easier to keep warm. 74 isn't the worst ambient temp, but I would shoot for the high 70's if possible. You could also increase the temp of the room.
