I say its a mojave, just a nice light one, but the blown-out pictures wont help in determining what it is. OP if you could give better pics, over a neutral say white background (not green) and ones that are not blown out by the flash so the color can more easily be seen. But again I think it looks like a mojave.

I think the problem with folks confused if it is a butter or mojave is that green background (with poor lighting) is reflecting off the snake making it hard to determine what it is. That background is competing with the colors in the snake.
My only thought is, and I don't generally take to this kind of statement on the interwebs, but..
Your friend is an idiot, or at the very least completely ignorant of the BEL complex traits.
Sorry for the harsh words.
I don't get it. When or where did I said that we thought that the snake was a BEL??? WHERE?? I'm new here so I'm not answering your insult saying that you can't read a simple question. Read the title of the post "NON Blue Eye Leucistic Mojave-Butter QUESTION MARK" What I was asking was how a Snake that apparently was showing traits of both Butter and Mojave and wasn't a BEL. Some people who did read the question have answered saying that the didn't think is a mojave or that they didn't think that is a butter and therefor, it wasn't showing both genes as we thought.
