    I think its fair if the male is indeed a het hypo. When you trade, you should get a written guarantee that the bee is het hypo in case he doesn't prove out after 3 breedings. And come up with a back up plan if he doesn't prove out. Like, the trader should owe you the difference for a regular bee or something. Its quite a difference in sum between a normal bee and a het hypo bee.... You know, just in case.
