    Hypo Boa Pricing

What would be a fair price for a hypomelanistic boa constrictor female that's 5 foot long? That has a very clean colorful pattern.

Well, to fairly say, we'd have to have a bit more information. What's the pattern like? Is she het for anything? How clean is "clean"? What's her body condition like and who are you considering purchasing her from - craigslist or a known reputable breeder? A picture is worth a thousand words..........

Or are you thinking of selling yours?? If so, if she is het for something, you'll have to provide documetation to prove that in order to sell her as a het. And you might have to settle for a bit less than market if you are a private seller rather than a breeder who's spent time building a quality reputation. You might ask market price, but be prepared to bargain.

To give a rough generalization, if she is NOT het for any recessive genes and has the typical hypo pattern, I would say a nice hypo female around 5ft would go for about $200. But, again, there are a lot of mitigating factors, so remember, that's an estimate.
