Those are pretty snakes too bad that price range is unrealistic for me as of now,😡 being a broke college student sucks I forgot about that when I decided after four years it's time to go back to college.

Wow, they've really come down from what they started at and in a pretty short span of time. Still well out of my price range but from 5 figures to 4 in less than three years... I have the ingredients to "make" one, eventually, if the odds hit; more fun than just buying one, I think. Great looking snakes, just something about that pattern and the combination of those two genes. I'm kind of partial to pieds, though, so I might be biased, lol! Dreamsicle, Lightning Pied, etc.

I know that feel, I am a college student too... I can afford food for my guys and a few normal BPs that's pretty much it. >.<

On a side note how would you go about breeding for an albino pied??? I am trying to learn about breeding so I can try it out later on and I like the way that albino pied looks. How does that happen :3. I am all about the learning!

If you start with a male albino or pied and a female of the opposite, you would breed them together. The resulting offspring will carry both the albino and pied genes, they would appear to be normals. The offspring would be referred to as 100% het albino and 100% het pied. You then grow the offspring and breed them to each other. This will give you a 1 in 16 chance to produce an albino pied. These offspring could consist of normals that are 66% het albino and 66% het pied, albinos that are 66% pied, pieds that are 66% het albino, and albino pieds.

    Hope this helps.

When you breed a pied to an albino, you will get all normal looking offspring that are het for both pied and albino since both genes are recessive. To get a visual albino pied, you would have to breed two animals that carry both the albino and pied genes each. So you can breed those sibling normal double het albino pied offspring you got from the initial pairing to get albino pieds.

    Here's the breakdown :

Albino x Pied = Normal het albino and het pied.

Normal het albino pied x Normal het albino pied = albino pieds, normal het pieds, normal het albinos, normal het albino pieds, normals, albinos, albino het pieds, pieds, and pieds het albino.

You can breed albino het pieds to pied het albinos or either to normal het albino pieds too.
