Looking for a mentor in my area..
I live in Windsor California and am looking for a mentor in my area, or if anyone knows of some breeders around here feel free to let me know. I know about a lot of snakes, and a little about lizards and geckos, as you can see on my profile.

This is a cool idea. I would love to have a mentor in the southeastern PA area too. There are just so many intricacies with this business. It would be great if there were internship opportunities so that the newbies can learn from the pros.

Truth told, while some people might not mind the idea of being a "mentor," you can be assured that as soon as "student" surpasses "teacher," the "teacher" is going to regret the decision to be so generous. It becomes more about money when breeding, for better or worse.

I'm in NE PA and have no problem mentoring people. Not worried about the student surpassing me at all. Helped a few guys start up and now we are all good friends and work on projects together and vend with each other all the time.
