    My male checkered garter is going into brumation and has refused food for the past few weeks. All days refuse food for one reason or another. Bps can be pretty picky.

    Patience is the key word. Just stick to your schedule and the BP will resolve its little issue on its own. As far as its bathroom habits, just watch it and if it still does not go, you can always try warm water soak and feel for any hard lump in its belly near the vent.
