I've never had brussels sprouts. Although according to my favorite gardening for the cook magazine, homegrown sprouts harvested after a frost are delicious. I don't really care for cauliflower, perhaps I've just never had it cooked properly. I do tolerate broccoli fairly well. My absolute favorite vegetable is fresh green beans. I could eat myself sick on good garden green beans.
I have also recently discovered the joys of asparagus, and I have cultivated a taste for Ratatouille Byaldi. This is the gourmet version they show in the movie, and it's amazing.
I enjoy cooking with pumpkin this time of year. Besides the traditional breads and desserts, it makes a wonderful addition to stews, casseroles and other savory dishes.
I also enjoy garden sweet peas, which are hard to find around here. I do want to try artichoke very much, but I have no idea how to prepare or cook them, and I'm terrified I'll mess up and spend a fortune on something that turns out inedible.
