I would guess that you need more ventilation, as Aaron pointed out high humidity and low air flow is a know documented contributor of respiratory issues (sick building syndrome...) Too much air flow just leads to some shedding issues. VPI (the Barkers) comment is simple if you have an error, err on too much ventilation over too little. It is much healthier to have too much than too little.

I'd add some to the side, but be sure to not add too many holes.
Add a few, then leave the tub for a bit and check the humidity. Add more till you get it right.

I think the ends are ok but not just around the lip some about 1.5 inches from the bottom it makes a big difference to air flow patterns.

It's kind of hard to see but I put holes closer to the bottom along the side, I put 4 holes then some space and then 4 holes and then some space the 4 holes on both sides, if its too much I will melt some closed. Lets just keep our fingers crossed this fixes the issue!!!

So after putting these holes in the humidity dropped, but it's still above 80%. I'm thinking maybe more holes should be added....anyone else have some more input? Could it be the substrate I use??? I use the reptibark red bark.

Re: New to racks
It appears your substrate also is contributing to your humidity. Have you considered newspaper or paper towel?

Try paper towels or aspen

newspaper is safer than paper towels. (paper towel ingestion can and has been fatal) What is the RH in the room?
