I think they're like World of Warcraft (or something similar) dorks all hopped up on Mountain Dew Code Red. Must have pulled an all-weekender. My son does the same thing. The side effects of what so much wasted time living in a fantasy world inside the tv/monitor can do to the mind/social "life".

Or maybe they're just having fun. Although, when I was up for nearly 48 hours straight thanks to running out of my sleep medication, I was pretty out of it myself.

A month or two ago I was up for about 40 hours. The following day it became apparent that I had blacked out a time or two, as my 1SG and I were talking and he asked about a conversation that we had in which I said I'd do something (I never did said thing), and I had absolutely NO recollection of this conversation. Can't wait to get home and sleep in as late as I want at least two days a week! Knowing me, though, I'll be up early to go hiking, running, ice-fishing, snowboarding, etc.
