    One of the many reasons we say it's not necessary to move a ball python to a separate feeding enclosure. Also, why would you try to uncoil her once she was in this "feeding box"? Sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

    Well now you know it's no big deal. You also know its not a good idea to mess with a snake or put your hands anywhere near one when it's feeding time..

    This was what we call a SFE.. Or stupid feeding error..

    1: feeding tongs..
    2: feed in its own enclosure..
    3: don't touch the snake or put your hands near it during feeding time or when it's in feeding mode/coiled unless it strikes and wraps its food in a dangerous place like in it's water bowl. Then you can gently pick up and move the snake over while it's holding the rodent.
