Awww! What a cutie!
That is a six-lined skink. The juveniles have bright blue tails. We have them all over here too. We must've had a female come in who thought our basement (which is our finished rec-room) must be a good place to lay her eggs. That spring we had whole groups of the little critters running across our floor. Dang they are FAST!! Fortunately I was able to rescue most of them before my German Shepherds found them.
