Kaorte when I was using paper I used just a single layer as it was quite thick. Currently I am using coco coir it is great and very messy. I love and hate it all at once.

Gotcha. Yeah I can't do loose bedding. I've tried aspen and cypress mulch a few times and I always went back to paper towels. I'm gonna order a big role of indented kraft paper.
