I've kinda got the same concern for my early 2011 Pinstripe. She's 1100g and I really don't want to push her, but she could easily make 1400g in another few months. She has never refused a meal and will eat straight through a shed if offered.

I'd hate to pass her by this year, but I'd hate to do any harm to such a young girl.

If she isn't fat, and is willing to eat, let her eat. Once a week is fine. Look at the poop, if they are pooping a lot they aren't absorbing much of the rat. That's when you know when to slow down feeding. Otherwise you waste rats.
