I like mine with hot dogs too, if it's the Kraft, or any kind of boxed mac a cheese.
When I make my own, however, I put bread crumbs on top. Orrr. i will cook some ground beef, cook the noddles in a tomato sauce and water mixture, and then combine afterwards with cheese. Very good. And very good to use some some of that leftover spaghetti sauce you might have. Works just as well as tomato sauce.

Many people like their Mac and Cheese with any tomato based product. Hence the OP's question about adding Ketchup (AKA Canadian Salsa)

I didn't say anything about not many people liking it with ketchup? Just saying I -prefer- spaghetti sauce, or tomato sauce cooked in with the noodles during the boiling process...and only with the meals I cook on my on, not with the boxed mac n cheese.
Was it not all right to state my opinion?

    Ah, lol.
I'm used to people saying "hence" to point out that you missed the point completely and got it all wrong. So, got me a bit confused as I thought mac n cheese was the topic, along with the opinion of ketchup with it. XP

Sometimes I do it, but I think Velvita shells and cheese is way better with katchup.
