Currently I am housing my male crested gecko in an upturned 10g tank. It has a screen mesh front (secured by a luggage strap) and has been designed in a vertical fashion.

However, he went through a growth spurt recently and now I need to upgrade him, haha. Last time I weighed him he was 28g. Now he's pushing 42g! Seriously?! What a little piggy! Haha. He's even got that adorable muscular neck going on now. Just awesome.

I'm wanting to get him moved over in the next few weeks at the latest.

Do any of you house your adult cresties in a 20g vertical tank set-up? Since he has added nearly 35g over the past year, I'm thinking he might put on a few more grams before he's done reaching his size.

Before it's suggested, I cannot do exo terras in my current location. They are too wide/awkward for the space I have open to me. If anything, I can go more vertically, but I cannot do an 18" x 18" footprint unless I'm getting a PVC enclosure instead that I can stack.

Do any of you keep your adults in 20g enclosures, and if so, do you find it suits your needs or would you personally go bigger? Obviously if I can go bigger I will, but for the moment I'm looking at an option to last him another year. Then I can get a 2' x 2' x 2' PVC enclosure with a divider in the center. So the 20g is a 'temporary' solution until I can spoil him properly
