looking good,,, what did you use for wood?

It's like melamine(sp?) for the sheets but not melamine idk difference. I put three coats of polyurethane on it. The boards are 2x2s that I had from a different project

what about like plywood like what they use for subflooring ??? i only ask cause i dont know and i am looking to build a setup for a boa myself..

I've heard of people using sub flooring plywood. I'm not sure what the 2x2s are I'm pretty sure their not pine, my buddy used same kind for a ball cage and he's been in it for a couple years now no problem so I figured if I use same wood I'll be ok too. Like I said its my first big display type of enclosure ive just done dyi tubs before this one.

I love building stuff haha I never draw out my designs tho I just start and see what I end up with, good luck with the boa cage! I used minwax superior durability for sealing the wood that was the biggest pain in ass too I wish I would have sealed everything before I put it together

i was wondering about that. sealing that is.. what about like a nontoxic exteior paint? just to cover the plywood?
