    owners with mean snakes

Ok so anyone who owns snakes for any length of time will or has already have those snakes that are just plain nasty. Well I have had a few myself and arm I have this black pastel that just hates my guts but I digress my question is am I the only one who gets worries when my nightmare of a snake acts super nice? I start checking temps and water extent.. it just freaks me out I'm so used to playing snake charmer every time I slide out the tub that I kinda miss it now lol

Hahahaha. I have a black pastel who is just nasty too. Every time I open his tub, he puffs up and hisses as loud as he can. He was a rescue I took in a while back that I recently discovered to be suffering from RI, so I took him to the vet on Wednesday and I'm hoping that he gets nicer once the RI is gone. But I do know what you mean. The times he HASN'T puffed up and looked like he wants to kill me, I have to make sure he's still alive...

I have one that likes to hiss. Then she will have a time or two when she doesn't, and I think maybe we are over it. But she never let's me down, lol, she always seems to go back to her hissy self. :p

Weird about all the black pastels being mean, mine takes a chunk out of me every time she gets and it takes forever to get her to let go
