What can I do until PAM arrives?

The little girl I recently bought seems to have gotten mites. We think it was from one of our friend's snakes, because she didn't have them when we got her. :/
We've ordered Provent-a-mite, and it is on it's way.
In the mean time, I have completely emptied out her enclosure, with just paper towel substrate, an reptile basics-esque hide (made our own with the drawer dividers from walmart, they look almost exactly the same once we cut a hole out), has a tupperware water dish, and that's it. As bare as possible. I also cleaned the entire thing out with F10 (I know it doesn't kill mites, but it can't hurt).
I have soaked her in water with a drop of dawn soap once. Should I do it again? She just started soaking in her water dish this morning. I feel so bad for her!
PAM should be here within a few days.

I would soak her with a drop of dawn 2-3 times a day. This helps get the mites off the snake.

Allow her a large enough water bowl to soak in, I do not recommend putting anything on the snake.
No soaps, no oils, no reptile relief, nothing but good old water.
A few days and she'll be thanking you for ridding her of those pesky bugs.

Dawn and the other additional thing is to isolate the enclosure so mite cannot leave it the simplest is diatomaceous earth (DE) or dri-Die both are sold as ant killers they are mechanical killers so pose little risk to the snake. I use a tub for this purpose and place smaller (snake containing) tub inside a larger tub with the bottom covered with the DE. This keeps mites from leaving (they travel up to 3m away to lay eggs) the next step is to wash the enclosure daily soap and hot water. this kills the adult mites and most of the eggs if you repeat this daily this will get rid of the mites in a week or ten days. Lowering the RH to the low 40s greatly impedes the mites ability to lay viable eggs as well.

P-A-M needs to be used with caution. It is a derivative of a poison originally formulated to kill snakes and it is a suspected human carcinogen. I would suggest that you should spray outside or with a toxic compound respirator as the long term effects are still unknown but evidence is pilling up. (bans are starting as well NY, FL?, Canada and EU are restricting the use) Personally I am not afraid of a bit of work I just use the methods mentioned.
