    Herpstat & Flexwatt

Is there an online resource for buying both Herpstats & Flexwatt by the foot? The bean farm has both, but they don't sell the 4" by the foot, only in 100ft rolls it seems. Unless I missed something?
Was just looking to save a bit on shipping / have everything arrive at the same time. If not, I'll probably just grab a herpstat from evolution reptile and the flexwatt from reptile basics.
    Thanks for any info

Appreciate the info, but I didn't see reptile basics selling Herpstats, or did I miss them somewhere?

Also, to add to my original question:
    for a 6 stack, 32qt rack made from melamine, should I use the 3" 6w, or the 4" 8w?

    Thanks!

Reptile Basics sells Vivarium Electronics. Herpstats are available directly from the manufacturer Spider Robotics

    I would go with 4"

Why not just use the 3 inch flexwatt? It is higher wattage but all flexwatt MUST be use with a T-stat anyway. The lower wattage 4 would run a bit cooler maxed out but as it is not recommended for sustained temps that even approach max (I have seen not more than 100ºF and also 95ºF and flexwatt maxed at 160+ typically) it is a bit of a moot point.

With just one inch under discussion here i'd say it just comes down to personal preference. Either would work well for 32qt tubs. It's really just a matter of how wide you want your hot spot

I think I'm leaning towards the 4". Unfortunately it seems to be out of stock currently at reptile basics.
    Thanks for the replies

I recently bought flexwatt and rodent stuff from reptile basics, and my Herpstat 2 from A+ Serpents. Mark is great about shipping quick.

Lucky. I called all over and tried to get a Herpstat 2 but everyone was sold out of them. I had to pre order one from the company directly. I hope it comes soon!
