I have two BP's that are currently in two different cages. One is a lot bigger than the other. When can I house them both in the same tank and it be okay?
This is a bad Idea for many reasons. The first it will more than likely stress the snakes out they are solitary animals by nature and would not like being housed together. They would always be fighting for the best spot in the cage. Second feeding would become an issue. Third if one had a Regurge or poor bowel movement how would you tell which one. I am sure there are other reasons but these come to mind when the question is asked. Hope this helps

That would be alot of unneeded stress on both snakes if she does not take the steps to breed them properly and they end up hooking up and she gets an unwanted clutch. Both males and females should be at the right weights and ages before breeding. Letting under weight snakes accidentally breed will cause them to drop healthy weight during the process. So if she is not wanting to breed them it would be an unnecessary toll put on her snakes.
