    should I?

I have the opportunity to buy a 950 g female chocolate BP for $80. She doesn't fit into the breeding plans but I only have one breeder size female at the moment. Would it be worth it to buy her? Are their any neat projects to be made using her?

    Re: should I?

I would go for it. I don't know what chocolates usually run for but around here morphs seem to be more expensive. 80$ sounds good to me just based on the fact that it's a morph and so long as she doesn't look too much like a normal.

I'm getting it from a friend of a breeder out of Cleveland. We bought our pastel from him and she is perfect. The Guy we would get her from owns a little exotic petshop not far from where I live. I also get all of my feeders from him so this isn't a Craigslist ad or anything.

$80 for a 950g female chocolate? that's an amazing deal if you're actually getting a chocolate... i know 2012 hatchling female chocolates usually run around $300-$350. just make sure you're getting what you're expecting!

Then it's definitely something I personally couldn't resist. I looked on Reptmart and they're selling chocolates for 300$. Don't know if that's over or under but 80$ compared to 300 is nice to me

That's my issue. I'm not familiar with chocolates but I suppose another 950 g female, even if she's a normal, would still be worth $80. Is there anything I can look for to identify chocolate in her?

I don't think the deal is to good to be true though in this case because I bought my 2070g pastel for $99 from him!!

could you post a picture of her? sometimes chocolate's can be hard to identify. i don't know how much time you have but if you wanted, you could contact Brian at BHB (he imported the morph and knows more about it than anyone else) and see if he can help you identify her.

Id make the drive to Cleveland for a chocolate hatchling at that price let alone one that's 950g. Here's a link from this site about chocolates.
