    Stressed or just exporing?

So i got my lil male mojave yesterday. He spends about 2 hrs at a time in his hide then goes exploring his tub for about an hr and a half. Is it normal for him to expore his tub for a few days or could he be stressed?
If its normal for him to explore, how long should i wait and worry that he could be stressed?

Hes about 1ft long, 6 weeks old. I dont have a weight on him yet. I am waiting for my scale to come in the mail.

His set up: (since i know i will be asked)
Hes in a 25q tub with 3 hides that are a tad bit to big for him, but like i said will go in them for about 2 hrs at a time. Ones on the hotside, one in the inbetween, and one on the cool side.

His hot side is 90. Cool side 81. Humidity 56%. So his husbandry is spot on.

And his tub os very cluttered with lots of leaves. I also have all his hides positioned to where tthe opening are only about 3 inches from one another.

Probably just getting used to his new home. I would not worry about it. Give him a few weeks to settle in and then you will see his normal behavior/personality.

Most snakes stress, to a certain degree, when they are put into a different environment. All new sights and smells. They don't know what is a threat and what is not. That is why most people recommend giving them a week with no handling or disturbance, except for changing water and quick spot cleaning. That is their time to get comfortable in their new home...

You might just let him be. If you clutter the tub more now, then that's more change and new to get used to. I think he is probably just a little stresssed and checking everything out. Do you have the tub covered? My new little enchi dude cruised around a bit the first day, checked things out, had a drink, then disappeared into his hide and I haven't seen him since, except when I feed him. I'm going to give one one more meal, so three meals and two weeks here, (I can hardly stand it) then he comes out to say hello! He's so gorgeous, I just want to see him.
