    I love rexes! I bred what I thought were 2 rexes and got 6 little hairless things... But the other 5 were the most fluffy curly little rexes I have seen so far, that is until this thread and that pic of your little Suzy Q!

    I have a total of 64 babies and only 1 is curly! But I love his curls and his awesome face pattern !

    That face marking is a recessive blaze, aka "jester"!
    The one on top doen't look like a normal rex...velveteen, maybe?

    Lightening blazes can be Recessive or Dominate, hopefully in this case it's a recessive blaze.

    Rex's and velveteen's are pretty much the same gene and are compatible with each other.
    It definitely could be a velveteen although that genetic is still not super common.

    Are we positive that the one I originally posted isn't double Rex? I took her out today and her fur looks patchy. She is now 3.5 weeks old.

    All of my Rex babies molt almost completely hairless then start growing in their normal curly coat back later.
