The Countdown Continues

Just 2 more days. Two. Days. We will be closing at 2pm on Thursday. I can't believe it's so close now.

I've called the cable company and all the utilities. Everything is set to transfer Friday. The cable folks are coming by on Saturday. So glad I've got 3 weeks to move everything. Gonna move the living area and master bed stuff this weekend and some animals. The snakes are gonna take some time. Growing from 2 to 55 over 2 years makes it a challenge.

We are so praying that there are no last minute problems.

Woo!!! Congrats! I am moving soon too. I am both excited and a little overwhelmed, but I can't wait to live in a more spacious place.

One day left now. The only thing that's annoying me is that we don't know what money to bring to the closing yet. And we might not know till the morning. It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have to go by the bank to get a Cashier's check. They won't take a personal one.

So now I am mad. Got a call this afternoon from the bank. Because the price of the house changed they had to go through the whole underwriting process again and it's not gonna be done in time. But wait! There's more! The lawyer that's doing the closing doesn't have an opening until Tuesday! So unless something changes tomorrow I have call all the freaking utilities and the cable company again the postpone the services transfers.

A bit pissed about the whole thing.

I'm sorry : ( I know how frustrating it can bee wait for the house to close, everyone seems to wait till the last minuet to tell you anything....
