    My hognose racks

I keep my hoggies in tubs and they do extremely well that way; not to say that is the only way to keep them.

    Hatchling Rack:

Adult rack: (this pic has a male and female together as it was taken during breeding season)

I keep my hognose adults in the same rack as my BPs as they share similar temp requirements and bin sizes. The one thing you want to do is keep the tub arid and have a humid box for them to root around in. Being exposed to higher humidity too often is not good for them. Also, if you keep them in a rack, make sure to dust the rodents you feed them with Cal/D3 powder. This can be done weekly and is primarily for females as they tend to lose a lot of cal when laying.

    Hope that helps!

Are you looking for a breeder set up or a more display set up? I use breeder racks (V-18 for grow ups and 32qt for adults). Inside the tub is aspen and a water dish. Looks similar to what TJ posted.

Are you looking for one rack to house both or separate options for each? They have similar heating requirements, so you can feasibly house both in a common rack system. I've done it successfully with hatchling grow ups. However, you would run into complications if you plan to breed. Many breeders cycle their BPs through a cooling period and many hog breeders brumate. A common rack could not accomplish this. There are ways around this such as not cooling or brumating which some breeders do. Or separating them during brumation and cooling, but it just starts to complicate things.

I only have one hog and 3 ball pythons (probably getting another pied this week). I plan on breeding the balls in a year.

Just got in to BP's and purchased a four rack system 30qt bins. Bought the optional bin dividers to split each bin into two. Also bought a VE-100 thermostat. Purchased from Greg West in Calgary AB, awesome pricing and will ship. Great product awesome service!!!!
