First bite and wrap! (pics after work)

So while changing water and doing some cleaning on our eyeless hatchlings the other night, I wasn't paying much attention and didn't notice that Ray was looking quite interested in the movement going around. Lo and behold the witless keeper became a potential food source I've only ever got missed feeding tags, and this was my first "latch and wrap." Cutest thing I've ever seen, and the determination just got funnier when I was able to gently unlatch him from my right middle finger and he immediately went for my thumb on the other hand. That one actually smarted a little, so I focused less on taking pictures and more on slowly ushering him off my hand. He seems no worse for the wear, and I'm actually really excited that they're hungry. Hopefully this next coming feeding day they'll take some F/T! We'll see, want to give him some time to sulk for a while. It's not a regurge, so there shouldn't be any health issues related to that kind of thing right?

I'll get the pics up when I'm home tonight. Very serious injuries as you can imagine, my transformers band aids were the only thing between me and death

    Talking

Me too.... Last night I had a bite/wrap from my wife's new female normal. After getting her home I weighed her(1318g) while reaching for her on the scale, i looked away long enough to not notice my hand in front of her face, then i felt it. It took about five minutes of work getting her off, wish i had pics. I can admit, this bite hurt a lot more than from my baby balls, but I survived!

*knocks on wood* I have yet to be bit! But I know it's coming, it happens to everyone at some point or another. I'm glad to hear your little guy is hungry though Next time I hope he doesn't mistake you for food, I fear you are a little too big for him.

Lol, I almost got some Scooby Doo's while I was at Target this weekend. We go through a lot. My daughter is rough and tumble. Plus, sometimes she uses bandaids where there is no blood. Makes it fell better, ya know? Lol.
