My albino girl has the uncanny ability to shed complete expect for her tail tip too. What I do is keep a wet towel pressed to the area for several minutes (sometimes for than 10) then try to work it off by rubbing the towel down her tail to her tip (this is easier if someone else is holding her body while I work at her tail). Dripping some water drops directly onto the stuck shed helps too.
