Name ideas and New Addition not the pastel but...

I did get a male spider. It is funny because a few months I planned on getting my first bp but I ended up changing my mind because started looking into boas instead. Not to long after that I got a Red Tail Boa. A couple weeks after that of course I was already looking into a new snake. I ended up finding a gorgeous bright pastel that I was going to get her but someone else got her before I had the chance. And then I found the spider that I got today. Anyways just thought I would share some pictures, see what you guys thought of him and, and maybe get some name ideas..

I love the white sides! Congrats. . How about Norbert? Lol, I'm terrible with names.

Thanks. Also quick question... I have noticed he likes to see how high he can stretch his body up into the air and then he kind of leans backwards and sometimes falls. Does this have something to do with the spider "head wobble"?

Yeah spiders are for sure not as coordinated as normal snakes. and they also tend to just do strange things from time to time.

I am actually really digging the name Norbert. It is snazzy!

I am coming to notice that. I wouldn't say he is clumsy. That would be my boa who just slithers straight off of things and falls/plops down onto whatever is below him. But my spider seems rather....silly to say the least.

Does anyone know what causes them to be less coordinated?

That's just his wobble. My spider male does like yours does, going straight up in the air, then falling backwards. My female spider barely has any sign of wobble, just a little bit of head bobbing now and then. The severity of it varies from snake to snake. I personally love my male's wobble, I think it's hilarious... especially when he is eating. He corkscrews his head completely upside down and sways around like a crazy drunk.

If mine is anything like yours then I am excited to see him eat! Even though it would be nice to have a spider without a head wobble I can already tell it gives him tons of spunk to have one!
