1) I had been keeping reptiles for over 20 years yet had never bred(intentionally). I picked ball pythons for the experience and I figured the small clutch sizes and popularity of them would make finding homes for the babies a relatively easy task.
2) Definitely seeing that first clutch of pearly whites in the tub with mamma snake.
3) Hatching black eyed leucistics this year. I was digging on them 4 years ago when I came across the "white" snake on Bob Clark's site. Just buying the het pair was a stretch of my available funds back then, sure was nice to see that project come to fruition.
4) I'm 6 feet under, pushing up daisies.
