    Confused about Caramel morph...

Ok so just how the topic says, i am a bit confused about the Caramel morph. I have seen some advertised as just "Caramel" & then i goole the morph or i go to the genetic wizard and i only see "Caramel Albino". ?????? Im confused. Is it a dom, co-dom, recessive? Ahhh

The caramel albino BP is a recessive morph.

Caramel and caramel albino are 2 names for the same morph.

It's recessive and it is caramel albino but alot of people just shorten it to caramel.

Caramel is recessive it is a T+ Albino (TYROSINASE POSITIVE ALBINO) while your regular albino is T- (TYROSINASE NEGATIVE ALBINO)

    (TYROSINASE!)

but yea, regular albino doesn't have tyrosinase production, caramel albino does.

if you think about getting a caramel, be aware of their kinking issues and the apparent sub fertility issues with the females

The difference is whether or not a genotype produces tyrosinase, which affects coloration.
