    If you are 100% sure that the umbilicus is twisted it is VERY important to act now, the more you wait the weaker the animal will become and it will eventually die.

    If you can untangle him without cutting the sac off try that first and than place him in a deli cup on damp paper towel and back in the incubator, if within the nex 24 to 48 hours he does not seem to absorb is yolk anyway simply cut the yolk sac of.
