    If BP doesn't eat

How long should I leave my BP in with his food until taking him out if he's not eating?

You can leave it overnight. If he doesn't eat, remove it and try again next week.

Has he ever taken f/t before?

Turn the lights off and leave it for an hour or so. Provided the snake can't escape that is. If it hasn't eaten within the hour it probably isn't going to.

Like Robin said, you can leave it overnight. When I was feeding F/T to my first BP I would leave the rat near the entrance of the hide if I had to leave it overnight.

    and...

    to the site!

Edit: Glad he ate for ya!

Can anyone recommend a good scale to weigh him?

Walmart sells a "Starfrit" digital food scale for somewhere in the $15 to $20 range.

Most digital food scales will work well to weigh your prey items or your BP.
