in general they are, a male banana is worth much more than a female. females are usually in more demand cause you can breed a male to an average of 5 females. plus breeders like to have a good base with many females to support that one new male morph that just came out. can't spend 20k on a new male morph if you don't have the females to support that purchase. it's all suppy and demand
