y does it look like this
just found this ad...and i was curious why it looks so unhealthy is it a stuck shed? i know nothing about blood pythons but would love to venture into different species of snakes besides balls http://fayetteville.craigslist.org/pet/3245156498.html

Dehydrated. Everything about this husbandry is wrong for a blood. Glass tank, screen top, heat lamp. All reasons for that snake jerky sausage you see there. That snake is not beyond help yet however.

Rescuing a blood is something to leave to those who already have experience owning a blood.

o i wasnt planning on rescuing it i just seen the ad and was woundering why it looked so strange...iv never seen a stuck shed on my ball..so i wasnt sure if thats what was going on....and after reading everything on this site..i wouldnt dare get another animal without doing research first...i would love to get a blood python one day..but im not ready for it yet...i want to have my ball for atleast a year and know i have done a good job taking care of it first before looking for something elese

That's a fully retained shed. The snake is also likely dehydrated from being kept in a completely incorrect setup, but the extreme wrinkling like that with the weird opaque-shiny appearance is from a fully retained shed. Really sad.
