With all due respect, just initiative won't get it. I have been on this forum long enough to recognize the hierarchy of the BP community. In otherwords, even though there are those who are undeniable the experts in this field, there is also an unmistakable level of cronyism. I often see where, if it isn't coming down from the Big Boy Breeders or the Mod Squad, then it is may be dismissed or ignored as opinion.

Further, I lack the name/reputation/credentials to gain access to those who would likely have the neccessary archives of data to begin compiling something worthy of authorship. In my own experience, I have witnessed people who don't have the time to be bothered with "the little guy, newbie, or other moniker". I will make my contributions on various threads in hopes that it is of some help, but I am always on the ready to have someone swoop in with their condessending wisdom to put me in my place. This is not a sideways remark intended for you. I geniunely appreciate your response and open dialogue with me on this thread. We just happen to disagree.

BTW, I live in Georgia now but grew up and lived for 43 yrs in Macomb Co. "Go Redwings."

We will have to disagree, the big boys voices may reach farther, there are some who voices are louder. Hang around long enough you know that doesn't mean a thing as to how correct the information is. I don't think a whole lot follow as blindly as you may think. I also think you're under estimating some breeders, there are quite a few happy to share information. That I have personal experience with. Don't let a few get you down.
