That guy is smoking! I will be doing albino x het albino and het pied x het pied this year. If I got this down somewhere around the 35-45 day mark I will see pink instead of dark on the albinos and the pieds?

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

on the albinos at about 89 degrees day 30 to 35. bels were harder. around day 42 to 45, reason i think is the het albinos are pretty dark normal. if you get a lesser or mojave they are blushed. which helps in keeping the egg pink longer before they will start to darken. with the clutch I just had the 3 passions stayed pink. the normals darken first and the 2 phantom/mojaves cause of the blushed sides stayed pink longer but also darken after the normals.

in my egg tub, I use the light grid and water. I use glad press n seal not saran wrap and I also place a lid over the press n seal. I have very good humidity and opening the tub to candle isn't a problem. I can open my tubs every day and my eggs stay full, no sagging.

when you first start candling at the beginning of incubation, all the eggs will glow pink. with albino for example, when the hets start getting their color. they will start to darken ( less pink every day ). the albino won't. around day 30 you can really see this. and day 35 you pretty much know for sure.

so candle your eggs thru incubation mark your finding down, and then when the hatch, compare your finding to what comes out. I been 100% so far, with over 10 clutches.
