You are actually a bit cold. Hot spot should be 90, ambient should be 80. Check for mites. Little black bugs, on your snake, in the tub, in the water dish....

Actually his temps are fine.. I keep my balls with low 76-77 and hot 86-88 and never had slightest problem.

To OP depends on state You live the best option is PAM (Provent-a-Mite^TM) spray but from my knowledge you cant buy it in NY and FL because of some local State FDA regulations.
