Thanks again to all those who have posted for your nice comments.
I quoted this particular post to say I'm pretty sure he's not through "turning out". With every shed more color comes in and now he's starting getting those dark specks you can see in the pics.
You should have seen me trying to scrub them off when they first showed up. It's a wonder the little guy has any skin left.

So I know this is a bit of an older thread, however I was just wondering if it was possible that the mom was a het Russo? The "Sultan" looks a lot like an Opal Diamond. Is this like a new line of the Opal Diamond?
