    If you're looking to keep bees mainly for the honey, you may want to try skipping the store middle man and just find a direct honey source. My wife's uncle sells local honey he produces by the jar (with and without honeycomb). I'm sure you could find some bee keepers local to you that would be happy to sell direct.
