I get my first impressions by initial contact with a seller. Earlier this summer I purchased a YB from an ad on KS. I could not find any references at that time and although he had a website, he had just a few snakes available on it. All of this made me assume he was just beginning or just a small time breeder. However, because of how he quickly answered my all my questions and sent additional pictures I took a chance and paid for the YB. He kept the snake until it had 4 meals and after each meal he would email me and update me on my purchase. When the snake arrived it was beautiful and very healthy. He also included the snakes infor card that had it's birthdate, hatch weight, what it ate and when and weight when shipped out. Needless to say, since that transaction went so well, I have purchased from him again and the second time was a nice as the first. I guess after all my rambling , my feelings about that seller is she is not someone I would be overly comfortable with. I might contact her again , ask for pictures and detailed info on the snakes. If you did that the first time and did not get complete responses, I would look elsewhere. For me , first impressions mean a lot
