    Love this thread mike!

My every day knife is a gerber paraframe that my wife gave me for our first Christmas together 2 years ago. It's been holding up very well to my heavy use.

All of my other knives are packed up to move at the moment but here's the ones I ended up getting my groomsmen. The kershaw I wanted to get was like the one mike has on the left but they only had one... So I got them these instead.

Not the most fancy thing in the world but I knew the guys would really like them, especially sense they are assisted open knifes lol

Here's our wedding knife photo =P

Look what I found at my little hardware store yesterday. It was so "pretty" I had to have it.

Tempering is how they get the metal to be strong. The rainbow stuff is a titanium oxide coating...not sure if it has any other purpose than looking cool. I've seen a couple rainbowy kitchen knives, they're so cool, I want a set but I can never find 'em.

I have a big box so full that I can barely pick it up, but here are some favorites..

Some of mine are very old.. Others are newer.. Gil Hibbon, Cold Steel, Kershaw, Spec Plus, Western, Smith & Wesson, Camillus, Boker, Barlow, etc etc..

I'll post more later.. I have nothing new except the one I carry in my purse. Everything else is early nineties and older. My all time favorite knives will always be butterflies, especially Bali Song, switch blades, and fantasy daggers. I'm actually looking for an older one by Gil Hibben called the Silver Shadow that I always wanted but never got. I do prefer functional over display, but I've always loved his designs.

Here's my Dragon Lord. 1st production run.

Two of my favorite boot knives.. A Western, and a Kershaw..

A couple of older Dixie Knife Works butterflies..

My first Kershaw that I got around 1995..

A Smith & Wesson my dad gave me..

Camillus Cuda, 1st production run. This one was a gift some years ago brand new and was pricy. I use to carry it until I found out it went up in value. Now I just need to get the spots off the blade.

This is the S&W I currently carry until I find something new and retire it..
