    Advice on something more maybe....

So I want Apologize in advance for posting this, 2 times, and some of you may have seen the pics but i need to ease my mind..

    Backstory:
Had woman put a deposit on this girl and a mojo.. (and ma'am if you happen to read this your email may be coming shortly explaining everything)

Shes being bought as a pet and she is very very snappy. Barely handleable at all. Which leads me to even consider backing out of the deposit.
Also imho she is gorgeous, i have never seen one like her, which leads me to think that something else might just might be goin on.

What is your take? Ive posted two pics one is my iphone pic, and one is a cleaned up brightened up nicer pic. Please tell me this is just an exceptional girl.. And nothing super duper special..

Or should i break the deposit and refund the money and give the lady a fee for the trouble of this whole mess and hold her back and breed her to see?

I know proving out is the only way, but whats your thoughts?

    Simplex

I think I'd hold that one back. She should understand as long as you give her a full refund of her deposit.

She a cool girl, but honestly from a transaction point I can say I'd be pretty po'd if I put a deposit on a snake I wanted then had the seller pull a "sorry, but I changed my mind". IMO it's unprofessional. I sell items in another hobby and I would never tell a buyer, especially if they already sent full or partial payment for the item, that they were SOL. Now if the buyer backed out then that would be another story. My .02

I would honor the original deal. You should have made your decision before it was offered for sale. Now if said lady sees this and offers to take a refund or another snake that is acceptable.

I agree with daybreaker and txcoker on this one. While I will say that her color is awesome I dont think anything special is going on with her as I have seen quite a few lessers that have a pattern very similar and I wouldnt consider holding her back had I produced her just because I am more of a reduced or banded and clean lesser/butter kinda guy. I think you should stick with the original deal.

You are definitely in the wrong. Your decision to accept a payment from
The lady binds a personal contract between you both and you should honor it. It is morally as well as professionally wrong to change your opinion now. Do the right thing and honor your customer. It is hers and let it be.

I'd have to go with the consensus and say you need to honor the deal. Me, personally, my word is my bond, regardless of money being exchanged or not or the amount. I guess it comes down to what you feel your integrity is worth: the monetary value of that animal to back out of the deal or seeing a "special" snake go but knowing you did the right thing? I can't put a price on my integrity and wouldn't ever care to try to.

My gut is with the consensus as well. Just needed some reassurance i guess. If she was super handleable, this wouldn't even be a discussion. But the buyer has been made aware that this girl is snappy.

As nice as she is, im actually relived you all think she is just that, nice but nothin more. Makes this alot easier.
