    Is this pre-shed?

My albino's eyes went a pretty obvious cloudy-white at the top. I've seen a lot of shedding pictures on BP.net, but still am not sure what to look for in the pink of an albino eye.

With my albino spider I have never caught her with cloudy eyes but I know when she is in shed partly because I document and go by rough estimates on dates but because the white pattern turns a pinkish color. I would say that your snake is in shed because of the cloudy appearance on its eyes. When was the last shed? Mine shed about every 6 weeks.

Thanks so much! He is new to us, born In early June and we have had him since August 1st. Odd you mention the pinkish tone, I mentioned to DH yesterday that his skin looked ever slightly lavender....

With my albino I also have never saw her eyes go cloudy, I base it on her color, when her yellow starts to become a very light color instead of her bright yellow I know he's starting to shed.

Albinos are one of the hardest to ID a shed.
For me, I can't really tell by visually looking at his eyes. But my albino gets the typical pink belly and his entire body gets 'rough' when he's about to shed.

Thanks so much everyone. I feel better that I'm not the only one who can't easily tell when their albino is about to shed.
I always see these "Here's my normal in shed" type posts and figured it would be obvious. Then I got Herman (the albino) and had no idea what I was looking for.

This is an old old picture but it seems like my albino looks wrinkly and progressively looks worse when about to shed. All his colors dull out and while usually a sweetheart has no patience for any extra touching.

    Right about to shed:
