Moving Eggs to Hatching Tub?

With any luck we are about a week or so away from hatchlings on our very first clutch ever. YB to Normal for those who will ask. I have been trying to read every hatching thread that pops up, and I am seeing alot of talk about mold, bacteria, contamination, etc.. I also notice many pictures where the hatchlings are covered in vermiculite and such or have some residual umbilicus hanging off them. So are is my questions.

How many of you move your eggs to a different tub for hatching after they have pipped? For those who do, please describe your setup of the hatch tub. Have you experienced any significant Pros or Cons in doing so, or is it just personal preference?

Just leave them be. They'll be fine.

We take them off of the egg crate and place the eggs on damp paper towels after the first ones poke their heads out, then back to the incubator until they emerge from the eggs.
I have seen them try to poke their heads into the egg crate, I take no chances...

I've just left them in the medium until they are all out of the egg. Been doing it that way for 11 years.
No issues whatsoever.
It all comes down to personal choice. No right or wrong way really.

Same here. I place the eggs on a moist paper towels and put them back in the 'bator till the all come out.

I have been told by a few people that they had snakes get caught in the egg crate.
I take no chances.

x3 I had a baby with a retained yolk sac last year and I shudder to think of the damage he might have done to himself if it had hung up on the light diffuser. However, there is really no reason to move them (other than aesthetics) if you are putting the eggs in the substrate, rather than using a substrate-less method.
