    John,

    I am in Gainesville.

    I too have rats and have been breeding for about a year now. I have some fancy "morph" rats and have just been eliminating any biters, chewers, or unhealthy lines.

    I also have a group of normal hooded that have to be over two years old and still going very strong with no tumors and producing if you are working more towards longevity and very strong maternal instincts.
