Believe it or not I think my Ball Python may do something similar. Occasionally I will notice a "twitch" on bottom underside of the neck about 6-7 down from the head. It usually happens when he is periscoping in his tank--trying to find a way out. It doesn't always happen but when it does, it freaks me out. Maybe they are involuntary muscle spasms. Such as your eye randomly twitching or what not.

yeah looks like muscle contractions to me too. Could be a pain response, I've seen it before with a broken rib. I would take him to a vet to be sure.

My BP's do something similar on all parts of their body depending on where i touch them--they are trying to get my hand off them, usually saying "Don't touch me right now!" I wouldn't worry.

1. fiance  I had to rehome my kitty, and my dog got cancer and we put her down. RIP.(Did I forget anything??  )

When mine did it, I wasn't handling her at the time. She was moving into one of her hides right after she finished eating and her sides/belly started twitching like that.
