    I dont know where it is now but i have a picture of a rat snake eating a bird probably 100-150pct of its weight. Snakes can eat an amazing amount of food in a feeding. It is not recommended to feed large meals but they can handle it. Like the other posters have commented, keep a keen eye on your snake, and avoid feeding for a few weeks.
